The Sonex is an aerobatic capable airplane. I’m new to acro, but have found it easy to do with the Sonex. In general aerobatics need to be limited to positive G maneuvers as there is not an inverted fuel system. However, it is possible to be zero G or negative G for a moment as the fuel filter/gasolator is lower than the carb, and there is roughly 12 seconds of fuel left in the line before the engine will cut out. I haven’t tried this personally, but I’ve been told the same by several pilots.
